The main reason for this lies in the fact that numerous types of dangerous and deathly diseases have surfaced, such as cancer, which have not been cured yet. The necessity of the clinical trials is based on the fact that the treatments must be used exactly on the patients. One of the latest types of clinical trials initiated are based on the vaccine design to cure cancer. These have been developed in the idea of creating the substance that will eliminate the tumor, with the help of the tumor itself and of other bodily substances of the patient.</p>
<p>As cancer is a terrible disease, which cannot be controlled in its superior developing stages, the cure for it, regardless of the form it comes in, should be based on a general functioning principle that is then divided and recreated in a personalized way for each patient. Around the world, the clinical trails have already been instated for some time and are even showing off amazing results. Some of the most important breakthroughs of these kinds have been the ones for the prostate cancer vaccine and for the brain cancer vaccine. However, these have only made the lives of the patients a bit better and have prolonged them for several years, the actual complete curing still being sought after. The start of the cancer curing process is started and the results are bound to come.</p>

However, the last decade witnessed a revolution in the approach to vaccine design and its development. No longer is there a need to rely on the laborious, classical methods such as attenuation or killing the pathogen. Nowadays, there are sophisticated technologies such as genomics, proteomics, functional genomics, and synthetic chemistry, which are used for the rational identification of antigens, the synthesis of complex glycans, the generation of engineered carrier proteins and much more. In terms of coming up with a new vaccine design, research has become very exciting.</p>
<p>One of the most intriguing vaccine design is the HIV vaccine design. HIV has eluded vaccine makers for more than thirty years, in part due to the extreme mutation ability of the virus. Physical scientists and clinical virologists from MIT have identified a possible strategy for an HIV vaccine design using a mathematical technique that has also been used in problems related to quantum physics. Unfortunately, the HIV&#8217;s ability to mutate has made it difficult for scientists to come up with a 100% HIV vaccine design that would work. Researchers have made many experiments and one of them is particularly interesting in the HIV vaccine design. By staging a multi-pronged attack against three regions of HIV, scientists have reasoned that they might be able to trap the virus between being destroyed by the immune system, or mutate and destroy itself. This would revolutionary for the HIV vaccine design.</p>
<p>When a team of researchers studied HIV infected individuals whose bodies are naturally able to fend off the virus attacks, they found that these individuals&#8217; immune systems preferentially targeted Gag sector 3 over other proteins. At the moment, the study authors work to extend their methods to HIV proteins behind Gag. The team is also developing elements of the active components of a vaccine design.</p>

The researchers work a lot to find an HIV vaccine design and hope this will be perfected as soon as possible. The appearance of such a vaccine design is colossal, because it would be one of the greatest discoveries or inventions in the history of medicine. The HIV, named in fact the Human Immunodeficiency Virus is the one that causes AIDS. AIDS is the acronym for Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, a dangerous condition that leads to the failure of the immune system, leaving the organism unprotected of illnesses and infections. The HIV and the AIDS are some of the biggest problems that exist in the world and establishing a vaccine design would be ideal. A vaccine design against this horrible virus is extremely important.</p>
<p>HIV and AIDS were discovered in the early 1980s and since then, researchers are working a lot to create a vaccine design. Because the first cases appeared in gay men that were infected with a rare form of pneumonia, Robert Gallo and Luc Montagnier started researching the problem. Although they worked independently, they got to the same conclusions and they published their studies in the same scientific journal. Unfortunately, neither Gallo, nor Montagnier were able to find a cure for HIV and AIDS. Neither of them could establish a vaccine design, so until present days, this horrible virus cannot be avoided thanks to one.</p>
<p>Researchers working to find a vaccine design for HIV are trying to find a connection between a possible vaccine and the origin of the virus, but until not, they were not successful. They suspect the HIV origins from non-primates, but they have no proof yet. Apparently, the first cases of human HIV existed in the early years of the 20th century, but the virus was only discovered many decades later. This is why, although it exists for such a long time, the HIV still has not a vaccine design. The person that will finally create it will surely be considered a hero.</p>

If HIV is not kept under control with vaccines and medication, it can eventually develop to AIDS. Individuals diagnosed with AIDS die from all kinds of infections and in a short time span.</p>
<p>Researchers have tried to come up with a cure for HIV/AIDS and are now tackling a new HIV vaccine design. There are two human antibodies that can stop over 90% of known HIV strains from infecting human cells. Scientists who discovered this feature, have also demonstrated that these proteins have a special role in stopping the HIV strains from developing.</p>
<p>Specialists who have developed research programs, say that these antibodies can be used to create a better HIV vaccine design. Some go as far as saying&nbsp; that the possible HIV vaccine design can also prevent HIV infection. Could this vaccine design be a cure for HIV/AIDS?</p>
<p>Here is an explanation of how the vaccine design might work. Finding the individual antibodies, in the vaccine design, that can neutralise HIV strains was extremely challenging for researchers. One reason would be the fact that the virus is constantly changing its surface, in order to evade recognition by the immune system. Researchers have found a loophole, in the sense that there is a portion on the HIV virus, where the attachment to the immune cells can be stopped, with the help of the antibody vaccine design.</p>
<p>The development of these specific antibodies starts with mixing of genes into new combinations within the immune cells that make antibodies. The HIV vaccine design has the advantage of not getting attached to human cells. Otherwise, those particular antibodies would be eliminated during immune development. In the final stage of the HIV vaccine design, the antibody produces B-cells that recognise specific parts of the HIV virus and then mutate, so that the antibody can bind to the pathogen more firmly. All this is still in the process of development. Maybe in the near future, researchers will find a vaccine design that permanently cures people from HIV/AIDS.</p>

Vaccine design is, though, a controversial topic, since the many variants of a vaccine are usually tested on animals.</p>

Moreover, they have difficulties with their daily tasks and duties. The energy level is very decreased and even the easiest things are a burden for them. A vaccine design can change their lives and make them happy.</p>
<p>Many kids are also in the same situation and some of the diseases they suffer from do not have yet an exact cause. Vaccine design would be great, but it needs huge funds, special tools and laboratories where scientists will search and make experiments to discover&nbsp; great new things. The substances that are used for conceiving a vaccine design are controversial and there are many theories about this topic. Some of them claim that a few substances should be banned as they are dangerous and would harm lots of people rather than helping them. Pasteur is &#8220;the father&#8221; of vaccine design, but things developed and now, a lot of information is available for those who work in the area of medicine. Vaxign, the software that helps create vaccine design starts from bioinformatics analysis. Reverse vaccinology is the method used to create a vaccine design nowadays and Vaxign is an important piece of the puzzle. This is available for free in order to help create a vaccine design.</p>
<p>The software uses a program that can predict a vaccine target thanks to vaccine design criteria. Vaxign uses as input data microbial sequences and protein sequences. In this case, the condom is the only protection against it. A great way to prevent the HIV would be a vaccine, that is why researchers and doctors work daily to this vaccine design. The vaccine design for HIV is an important project of the medical community. At least, in present, everybody knows how HIV can be contracted, but 20 years ago, doctors were still wondering how can this virus be taken. One thing is certain, they are now working on a HIV vaccine design, so, in a few years we can hope that this disease will be eradicated forever and no one will have to suffer the horrible torments of AIDS. In Africa, for example, a large part of the population is infected with HIV, so, the vaccine design for this virus is extremely important.</p>
<p>Although studies show that researchers are approaching to the moment they will obtain the HIV vaccine design, no official information has been released to public, yet. This project is to important, so, news will only appear when the medical community will know for sure that the HIV vaccine design is working and the vaccine will be produced on a large mass. Millions of people die in present of AIDS, the disease, or, better said, the sum of diseases caused by HIV.
